Investing alongside ACP

Allied Climate Partners will provide first-loss, junior equity in selected third-party regional funds, providing downside risk protection to senior equity, enhancing potential upside through its strategic support and expertise, and catalyzing exposure to a critical asset class in emerging economies.

Commercially-oriented investors can work with ACP in two main ways:

  1. Senior equity: Invest senior equity alongside ACP’s junior equity as Limited Partners into ACP’s selected third-party regional funds in Southeast Asia, the Caribbean and Central America, Africa, and India.

  2. Pipeline opportunities: Invest debt or equity into the bankable projects and businesses from the portfolios of ACP’s managers as they mature.

ACP investment managers will target opportunities across mitigation, adaptation, and resilience; prioritizing jobs and local economic development. Example investment themes by region might include:

  • Direct offtake of resilient renewable power with island utilities
