Jochen Von Frowein

Jochen von Frowein is an impact investor with over 20 years in finance, including more than 15 years investing across emerging markets. He brings deep expertise in infrastructure and energy, spanning direct equity, fund investments, and project finance.

Before joining ACP, Jochen was Director and Head of Infrastructure & Energy, Global Equity at DEG, where he built and led a global team focused on sustainable infrastructure and climate investments across emerging markets. He previously held specialist roles at DEG across Latin America and Africa, and began his career in banking and strategy consulting with Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank, and Roland Berger.

Jochen is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Master’s in African Studies from the University of London (SOAS) and a degree in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
